Tender Details

Stan Siwik Pool was constructed in 1975. The facility is generally one story with a second-level mezzanine in the main pool area providing a 3-tiered concrete bleacher observation gallery. The main level consists of the facility's public and administration areas. Lower levels are located under the northwest hot tub/fitness area and under the pool deck, housing the pool mechanical systems. The second level mechanical room located at the east end of the bleacher level houses HRV, serving pool area. The replacement of the HVAC system is being contemplated to improve energy efficiency, maintainability, and to replace aging equipment. There is one AHU and two fan coil units in the basement mechanical room below the pool deck. The basement mechanical room also has two hot water boilers to heat the building and pool water. The boilers are aging and only mid-efficient. There is an opportunity to replace existing boilers with more efficient boilers. There are also two domestic water heaters and three storage tanks in the mechanical room. The basement mechanical room is small, and its layout poses a challenge for maintenance.
