Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Cleaning and Dredging of South Al Musaffah Channel.

• The further details on above tenders will be provided shortly on EAD website. Vendors are requested to check the website on a regular basis.

• Vendors can express their interest to participate in the tendering process for the above listed tenders by sending email to vm@ead.gov.ae mentioning the ‘Project Title- in subject line and attaching a clear copy of their Commercial License along with Supplier Information Form.

• All tenders are managed electronically and, therefore, all interested bidders are required to complete the mandatory registration online at https://www.ead.gov.ae/Suppliers/Supplier-Registration

The broad scope of work will include the following:
• Dredging of Seabed: Channel excavation by dredging for removal of controlled and
hazardous material exposed at the commencing surface
• Excavation Ancillaries: Disposal of excavated/dredged controlled and hazardous
material; to a designated land disposal area (Tadweer)
• Site Surveys:
 Bathymetry Survey prior to commencement of the works.
 Bathymetry Interim Surveys (progress surveys).
 Bathymetry Survey upon completion of the works.
 Geophysical Surveys using Ultra High Resolution (UHR) sub-bottom profiling
seismic system and magnetometer (MAG).
 Underwater survey to locate existing submarine objects/structures or remnants of
structures such as debris at/or beneath the seabed.
 Environmental Survey before and after the works.
 Regular environmental monitoring of the works and reporting to Employer, in accordance
with the requirements of the CEMP (Construction Environmental Management Plan)
