Description : You are invited to review and respond to this Request for Proposal (RFP), entitled Climate Risk and Resilience Analysis, RFP # 22019. The objectives of the Climate Risk and Resilience Analysis are to enable the California Department of Insurance (CDI) to assess the extent insurers are invested in fossil fuel assets (e.g. holdings in firms engaged in extraction, transformation or heavy combustion of fossil fuels) as well as green assets (e.g. holdings in firms engaged in climate-aligned, green and/or sustainable economic activities); have comparable and transparent data metrics in conformance with what leading insurance companies are already using; analyze data and draw conclusions; and, make certain information publicly available. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals to provide an updated Climate Risk and Resilience Analysis that can be used to update the existing Climate Risk Database.
