The competition is for the establishment of a cloud system, as well as the overall delivery of IT operations and related services. A desired final state by 31.12.2026 is that Tønsberg municipality has a complete architecture that safeguards all services and assignments that a Norwegian municipality has, which i.a. includes the following: that the contracting authority has taken over responsibility for all services and systems that Jarlsberg IKT currently provides and performs for the municipality. SaaS is, to the greatest possible degree, that services such as networks, client and meeting room equipment, print, security management and backup are procured in the market as primarily a "service/as-a-service". the list is not necessarily exhaustive, so the idea is that the IT partner assists the municipality in fulfilling all of the municipality's needs.
