Expression of Interest are invited for Coastal Hazard Diagnostic Assessment and Identification of Nature-Based Solutions and Non-Structural Measures for Coastal Risk Reduction in Cap Haitien
The overall objective of this assignment is to develop a roadmap for (i) reducing coastal risk and the impact of severe weather events that may be associated with long-term cyclical phenomena and/or climate change in Cap-Haïtien and its coastal peripheries, and (ii) prioritizing the use of nature-based (and hybrid) solutions and non-structural measures. The current assignment will complement and is expected to maximize coordination efforts with other World Bank ongoing initiatives being undertaken in Cap-Haïtien in the framework of the Municipal Development and Urban Resilience Project (MDUR) and the Cap-Haïtien Urban Development Project (CHUD), in particular, the parallel initiative for the development of the flood risk management Master Plan. At the same time, it will build on the data and results emerging from past and ongoing studies.
The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
