This notice is issued to help determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the Government requirement and to determine the method of acquisition. Background: The Air Force Research Laboratory, Aerospace Systems Directorate, High Speed Systems Propulsion Technology Branch (AFRL / RQHP) has a requirement to provide computational fluid dynamic analysis of propulsion concepts to research teams (inhouse and contractor). Purpose and Objective: The Government envisions an annual subscription to a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software suite. Details concerning the software requirements are listed in Section III, herein. Project Requirements: Provide a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software suite to handle multiple flow regimes and grid types (external and internal flows) Tools to analyze the aerodynamic and combustion processes associated with high-speed flight Software capable of treating complex physics with a unique capability for moving meshes Computation of steady and unsteady flows Realizable physical, numerical & mathematical models Provide a general framework, extensible and customizable Provide software support
