Computed tomography system
The computer tomography system is intended as part of the system for non-destructive component testing in the "SpreeTec neXt" project. Their procurement is planned and approved in the technology project TP5. Computed tomography (CT) is a radiological procedureical measuring method in which the examined parts are examined with X-rays from a full 360. A digital 3D image of the entire part is reconstructed from the individual images. This allows details hidden in the part, e.g. B. Defects such as pores and inclusions, localalised, displayed enlarged and measured. CT systems are highly precise measuring devices that reproduce details down to a few micrometers.
