Concordia Growth Area - Urban Design - Housing, Infrastructure, Planning and Development Unit
This consultancy approach for a sole provider is required to be undertaken as a priority, to enable the Concordia Growth Area to further progress through rezoning assessment.
The aim of this project is to:
Prepare an Integrated Structure and Infrastructure Plan which will form basis of a Code Amendment Report and Infrastructure Scheme preparation for the Concordia Growth Area.
Facilitate integrated structure and infrastructure planning process in collaboration with other consultant disciplines and key stakeholders.
Ensure the outputs reflect the appropriate level of infrastructure planning required to enable the staged and coordinated delivery of infrastructure to support the future development.
Ensure alignment with State Planning Policies, Regional Plans and other relevant strategic documents.
Ensure that the structure plan is developed to accord with the State Planning Commission’s ‘living locally’ objective.
To ensure that the Concordia Growth Area is well integrated with the existing urban fabric, is designed to maximise housing opportunities, and capitalise on the site's features to achieve a site responsive and well-designed structure plan.
The projects are all anticipated for completion by 6 December 2024.
