UNICEF, through the Health/HIV section, received funding from the Government of South Korea to implement activities relating to the maintenance and strengthening of essential health services as part of ACT-A investments. Part of these resources is intended for the improvementn access to drinking water in certain target health facilities. To this end, four health facilities in the health districts of Garoua Boulai and Meiganga were identified by the regional health delegations of the regions mentioned above to benefit from the work relating to theimprovement of certain WASH services. The work to be carried out, divided into two lots, will consist of the construction of boreholes, the evaluation of the productivity of existing boreholes, the construction of a reinforced concrete superstructure on which two plastic tanks will be placed ( black) of 3m3 of capacity each, the supply and installation of a solar pumping system, the construction of standpipes, the connection of the main services of the targeted health facility (treatment room, maternity, laboratory), toilets as well as the supply of all the tapsand necessary sanitary accessories.
