This invitation to quote tasks contractors with constructing a marine artificial reef complex within the Fort Panic Fish/Dive Reef permitted area, funded by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Walton County. With available funding of $60, 000, contractors must deploy a minimum of twenty-three prefabricated concrete modules to create four patch reefs at depths of 59-62 feet. All artificial reef construction must be completed by August 30, 2024, with the possibility of a short-term time extension under specified conditions. Upon initiation of handling and movement of reef materials, all liability and responsibility fall on the contractor until deployment at the reef site.
