The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), as part of the services it provides to its beneficiary partner countries, is providing financing for this acquisition, within the framework of the Project for the Improvement and Expansion of Information Systems. 2.ExECUTING AGENCY AND CONTRACTING

2.2 The Executing Agency is responsible for this acquisition process, for which it appoints the Executive Committee of the process and invites proposals for the required contracting.

2.3 The Contractor will be selected in accordance with the procedures of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration established in the Policy for the Obtaining of Goods, Works, Services and Consultancies with CABEI Resources and its Standards for Application, which are found under the following address at the Internet site: https://www.bcie.org .

3. PRESENTATION OF THE PROCESS

3.1 General objectives of the acquisition:

It consists of the construction of an electricity generation plant with a renewable source based on solar energy resources through the use of ground-mounted photovoltaic solar modules with a nominal installed capacity of 18.23 MWp.
