At the Haevern 1 power station, 31628 Landesbergen, LK Nienburg, Lower Saxony,
Statkraft Markets GmbH operates a 20 MWe biomass cogeneration plant (Bio I) fired with waste wood.
This is now to be expanded with a second plant also fired with biomass:
Landesbergen Bio II (afterin short: "LAN Bio II" or "Bio II"). The hallmark of this new Bio II is the ability for "multifueling", i.e. it should have the greatest possible flexibility with regard to the fuel used on the basis of self-running combustion (high range an humidity, calorific value, ash content, etc.).
The project is divided into two main lots. The subject of this announcement is only lot A:
