General objectives of the work to be contracted:

In general, the object of the contract is described as “construction of three DIE-type academic classrooms,
a DIE-type preschool classroom, a 72 m2 DIE-type dining room, a 72 m2 DIE-type 3 bathroom, a multipurpose room, a waiting area for relatives, administration, warehouse, covered passages, electromechanical systems, retaining wall and granular fill, perimeter fence, parking, exterior works and complementary works”.
Project background:
● The project is located in the province of Puntarenas, in the canton of Parrita,
in the district of Parrita.
● The project to provide educational infrastructure to the population of the Cuarros School
has plans approved and endorsed by the CFIA. The project does not have environmental viability issued by the National Environmental Technical Secretariat. The Contractor shall be responsible for carrying out all studies and procedures necessary to obtain the environmental viability of the project before the National Environmental Technical Secretariat (SETENA), in accordance with the Regulations for environmental evaluation, control and monitoring of SETENA [ref. Decree No. 43898 - MINAE-S- MOPT-MAG-MEIC].
The construction of the Las Vueltas school must be carried out in accordance with the plans and specifications developed by the DIE.
