The subject of the public tender in Group 1 - Velika Gorica, Group 2 - Zaprešić, Group 3 - Osijek and Group 4 - Vinkovci is the obtaining of a location permit for the construction of an exploratory geothermal well, the preparation and verification of the project for the construction of an exploratory geothermal well, the construction of an exploratory geothermal well with a wellwork space and its examination, as well as the preparation and execution of all service activities, construction works and procurement of equipment, materials and services, as well as well rehabilitation on a turnkey basis. All exploratory geothermal wells (in Group 1 - Velika Gorica, Group 2 - Zaprešić, Group 3 - Osijek and Group4 - Vinkovci) will be located within four different preliminary investigation areas in the area of lowland Croatia (altitude 100-150 m above sea level). Velike Gorica. Geologically, the area belongs to the southwestern marginal part of the Sava Depression. The area of the preliminary investigation area is 264.5 km2.

The preliminary investigation area Zaprešić is located in the western part of the Republic of Croatia and covers the wider area of the town of Zaprešić..
