Little Water Recycling Facility (ECLWRF). The purpose of this refurbishment is to extend the useful life of the system by another 10-15 years, and it involves the following key tasks:Replacing two steel sludge conditioning tanksInstalling temporary dewatering centrifuges and associated piping/conduitReplacing four sludge feed pumpsReplacing two acid wash pumpsReplacing existing control systemReplacing major components of the PFFPs such as hydraulic cylindersRefurbishing major components of the PFFPs such as filter platesRefurbishing other related systems such as drip trays, and air compressorsThe construction phase of this project is anticipated to begin in April 2025 and finish in October 2026.
