Tenders are invited for Construction of Sewerage System in Chamchamal District and Road Renovation with Provision of Sewerage Equipment/ Slemani Governorate

Sewer Construction
A1 (Double Wall Corrugated HDPE 80 sewer pipe with ring
stiffness value not less than SN8 (31.5kN/m2), and according
to ASTM. Supply materials, machinery and man power to
construct sewer line with (Double wall corrugated HDPE
pipes, base and surrounding of the pipes with (Sand material
according to the drawing and connect new sewer with main
existing sewer system). The work includes testing the pipes
and approving by the Municipality of Chamchamal,
excavation in all type of soil including rock layers and any
needed diversion for water or the access road if needed, so
directed by the Site Engineer. The item includes laying the
pipe over 20cm thickness of Granular sand and jointing of
the pipes as in ( ASTM D 2321) all necessary fittings. The
width of the trench should be according to the drawings and
the depth changes between 1.5m-2.5m and more if needed
according to the site requirement, backfilling with sand upto
30cm above the top of the pipe, and then backfilling to the
original natural ground level with approved selected material
in layers each layer to be compacted to the approval of
supervisor Engineer, and all the work must be executed
according to the drawings and the standard Iraqi General
Specifications.

B House Connections
B1 6"Sewerage lines for house connections: Supply materials,
machinery and man power to excavate of a trench min. (60 x
50)cm in all type of soils, even rocky, removal of debris to
the sites as directed by Engineer. The price includes provide
and install (Double Wall Corrugated HDPE 80 sewer pipe
with ring stiffness value not less than SN8, (PR54-1),
SR24=(31.5kN/m2), and according to ASTM and DN of 6
inch diameter) pipes/laying and connecting the PE pipes of
Min.1% slope with special glue to be installed inside a
concrete mix 1:3:6, 10cm thickness surrounding the pipe for
connecting the drainage system of houses to the existing
inlets or manholes according to site requirement with all
necessary fittings and accessories (Tee, Elbow 45/90 degree,
divider …etc.) according to attached technical drawing.
Backfilling upto the sub-base level with sub-base material
type (B) in layers with compaction,, the price includes testing
pipes and approving it by the Municipality of Chamchamal
and all the work must be executed according to the standard
Iraqi General Specifications . ML 360
C Construction of manholes
C1 The works includes provision of all the machineries, required
materials, construction equipment, labors to excavating depth
and dimensions according to required design level and site
requirement (will be provided by municipality of
Chamchamal), all that are required to make the job complete
in every part & detail to construct manholes in accordance
with the following items of work also connecting the final
manhole to the existing sewer system, backfilling with good
compaction after constructing the manholes, transporting all
the debris to outside municipality and all the works will be
carried out strictly in accordance with technical
specifications, drawings and instructions of the supervising
engineer. The price includes concrete testing by taking
concrete cubic sets (7 days and 28 days) and approving
according to Municipality of Chamchamal standards.
Supplying materials and placing in proper position 10 cm
thick layer of crushed stone with proper compaction and
casting 25 cm thick of R.concrete of 260 (kg/cm2) 26 MPA
for the manhole foundation and 20cm for the walls according
to the sketch and instructions of the supervising engineer.
Fairface formwork for the walls, installing water stop while
casting the base, installing internal iron ladder with three
layers of antirust paint coat and painting the internal &
external surfaces of manhole with two coats of bituminous or
three coats of flin coat.

Constructing reinforced concrete cover slab of 300 (kg/cm2)
30 MPA 25cm thickness as per attached drawings with a
minimum concrete cover of 25 mm under and over
reinforcement and stippling, installing the cast iron with
internal diameter not less than 60cm. weight of moveable
circular cast iron cover not less than (90 Kg) and the base of
the cast iron cover not less than (90 Kg), the frame and the
base of the cast iron cover must be fixed and embedded
inside of each manhole's concrete cover also making 2
embedded hooks at the corners.
C1.1 Manhole of having internal dim.(1.2*1.2)m and required
depth according to design level to design for sewer pipeline
to be provided by Municipality of chamchamal. NO 8
D Attached inlets
D1 Constructing concrete attached inlets having internal
dimensions of (0.4x0.60)m of variable depth according to
site requirement: Supply materials, equipment's, tools and
labors to constructing attached inlet with reinforced concrete.
The work includes excavation, backfilling, placing 10cm
crushed stone for beds with good compaction, casting with
class 26 MPa R.concrete 15cm thickness for the
foundation&walls, fairface surface, painting the internal
surfaces with three coats of flin coat, provision of materials
and all that required to connect with (HDPE pipe of Dia 20
cm surrounded by 15cm of clean sand) & make the job
complete in every part & detail to provide and fix the grills
for the road gullies (water inlets) cast iron grills with frame
their weights not less than (100 kg.) in accordance with the
following items of work and technical specification, weight
of grills not less than (50 kg) and the frame/ base weight not
less than (50 kg). price includes concrete testing by taking
concrete cubic sets (7 days and 28 days) and approving
according to Municipality of Chamchamal standards, fixing
the cover on the same level of the proposed street (Distances
between inlets and manholes, elevations and locations of the
inlets will be provided by municipality of Chamchamal) to
dispose the garbage to the place, all required accessories and
all the works must carried out according to the attached
drawings, standard specifications and to the instructions of
the supervising engineer. NO 12
E Road Concrete Pavement

E1 Provide materials, man power and equipment to remove the
old damaged concrete or any other ramps in front of the
houses and leveling the ground before casting the new
concrete where needed. the work includes removing the
excavated material and disposing it at suitable place provided
by Municipality of Chamchamal. Casting rigid pavement
(Low Traffic) of 15 cm thickness of reinforced concrete (1:
2: 4) 26 Mpa with 1 layer of BRC net (15*15) cm of 6mm
thickness. making an open channel during casting the
concrete at the center of the street, edge shuttering if needed,
using copter and making joints every 5m by cutter. The price
includes concrete testing by taking concrete cubic sets (7
days and 28 days) and approving according to Municipality
of Chamchamal standards. All the works should be carried
out as per the attached drawings and instructions and
satisfaction of the supervisor engineer. M

A Road Asphalt Pavement:
A1 Site Preparation
A1.1 HSE Supervisor should be provided by contractor for
implying the safety rules on the labors and the site.
Specified road signs should be setup at the site to notify
people about the road construction. No 1.0
A2 Removing top surface layer of the damaged asphalt up and apply asphalt up to to 6 centimeter with
binder.
A2.1 Asphalt Milling: Renting milling machine (laser sensor) for
milling (crushing) the top surface of asphalt road (only for
damaged surfaces) with thickness of (6) cm. The price
includes removing, loading and the crushed asphalt should
be transported to Municipality warehouse in Slemani
Industrial area. All the works should be done according to
supervising engineer instructions. M

A2.2 Provide material, necessary machineries for preparing hot
asphalt mix, kerosene (Tack Coat) and spreading over
(stabilizer) layer using proper machineries, all the process
should be according to (R&B-01 - R&B-10) in Iraqi
Standards for road pavement construction (2003), making
sure that curbs from both sides of the road are in a clean
condition after applying the Tack Coat. All the works of this
item must be according to standard specifications and
instructions of supervising engineer. M

manpower for preparing hot asphalt mix binding agent for
laying binder course base layer (6)cm (Compacted

road pavement construction (2003). All the works of this
