Tenders are invited for Construction of a Wind Farm - Uzbekistan.
The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan is implementing the Strategy for the Development of Large Renewable Energy Facilities with a Total Capacity of 12 GW for Clean Energy by 2030. As part of this initiative, the Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) development of large wind energy projects with a total capacity of 2000 MW (Wind Program).
These projects include a tender for the construction of a 200 MW wind farm (WPP) in Karakalpakstan, announced by the Ministry of Energy. A two-stage competition was launched to attract and select investors, consisting of applications for qualification (RFQ) and offer (RFP). Bids must be sent by June 30, 2022.
