Sustainable and Equitable Eye-health through Integrated People-Centred Eye Care (SEE-IPEC) - KH23-01

The purpose of this study is to gain an understanding of power dynamics
within the context of gender and disability inclusion, and how they relate to the provision of eye
health services. This includes examining the referral pathways, health facilities, and the patient
journey for eye care.
We will also look at the level of knowledge, attitudes and practices related to eye health
care, as well as barriers to accessibility and availability, all from the perspective of community
participation.
The findings from this study will be used to develop eye health promotion and education
strategies, provide feedback to eye healthcare providers for improvement, and for
planning and implementation of other projects.
