Request for proposals are invited for Consultancy-Salmaniya Medical Complex.

The Consultancy Services include Feasibility study, Preliminary Design, Pre-installation Requirements, Final Design which include scope of works, specifications, BOQ, Cost Estimates and Tender document preparations of the following:
1. Architecture Design (Existing and Proposed)
2. Interior design & Finishing and Furniture Equipment
3. Civil & Structure design and repairs. (Existing and Proposed)
4. Landscaping (Existing and Proposed).
5. Mechanical (Existing and Proposed) (Including Ventilation, Air Conditioning
system, Hot &Cold Water)
6. Plumbing (Existing and Proposed)
7. Passenger Lift
8. Fire Alarm System.
9. Building Management System
10. Patient-s Laundry Equipment (Existing and Proposed)
11. Gas & Diesel Fired Boilers for Steam Production. (Existing and Proposed)
12. Fresh Air (Existing and Proposed)
13. Site Supervision during execution of Project.

How to Participate?
Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender are able to get the Tender Documents online through the Internal
tender services Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (works Affairs) website or the Bahrain e-Government
- (https://www.bahrain.bh) starting from advertising date.
Contractors should have a valid qualification license and registered with Cost Engineering Directorate in the Ministry of works,
municipalities and urban planning and have commercial register in the same field. (Only for contractors and projects listed by the
Category mentioned above.
The tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments,
and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
As per the cabinet edicts no.s (6-2416) of 2017 and ( 4-2516) of 2019, registered SME-s will be offered a preference of 10% in
tenders and auctions related to service utilities inside purchasing authority premises. In case there is another applicable
preference percentage, the higher of them will be offered to SME's.
The bids should be deposited in the tender box at the Tender unit at 6th floor New Building, Ministry of Works municipalities
Affairs and Planning -as per the above mentioned date.
Tenders shall be submitted in one envelope.
In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
o Unit price and total amount with 5% VAT(as the case may be) in BD. shall be shown against each
quoted item.
o Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
o Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower
(Bahranization Certificate) issued by Ministry of Labour.
o All documents submitted as part of the bid must be stamped with the Company-s Stamp.
Tenders shall remain valid for 180 days from the closing date.
The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of a tender.
Any Bid that dose not meet the above conditions will be rejected in addition to the conditions specified in the tender documents.
This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents.
