Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services to Conduct Business Process Re-Engineering in the Programs Department of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF).
Submissions are to reach ACBF on or before Wednesday, 31 August 2022.
1. Introduction
The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) is seeking the services of a qualified Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) consultant to support the Foundation in re-designing its business processes in program management. The BPR will provide direction for the optimization of existing business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in how the Foundation manages its programs, and in particular, how to align programs with the support functions and how to structure processes and resources to work together efficiently and effectively to achieve the Foundation-s goals and objectives. These TOR provide information on the overall objectives
of the consultancy, scope of service, expected deliverables and the required qualifications and competencies of the consultant.
2. Background
ACBF has over the past three decades been building the capacity of individuals and institutions to fulfil its vision of an Africa Capable of Achieving its Own Development. The 2017-2022 strategic plan introduced a major shift by aiming to transform the Foundation from solely a grant making institution to a provider of knowledge, technical assistance, and resource mobilization services. The transformation was based on a value proposition articulated around the following five service lines: (a) Resource Mobilization Services; (b) Knowledge Services; (c) Capacity
Development Advisory Services; (d) Innovation in Capacity Development and (e) Investments in Capacity Development initiatives.
