▪ Consultancy services to conduct the climate risk assessment and design review for resilience of
the water supply and sanitation infrastructure in; the Greater Gomba Project Area (Covering the
cluster towns of: Kanoni, Kabulasoke, Maddu, Kifampa, Bukandula, Kiriri, Ngomanene,
Nsambwe, Lugaaga, Butiti, Kisozi, Kajumiro, Bulo, and other en route Rural Grouth Centres
(RGCs)); the Greater Bugadde Project Area (Covering the cluster towns of: Bugadde, Kityerera,
Busakira, Kuluuba and other en route Rural Growth Centres (RGCs)); The Greater Rakai
Project Area (Covering the cluster towns of: Rakai, Nsaro, Rumbugu, Bilabago, Buyamba,
Rwanda, Dwaniro, Byakabanda, Kamukala, and other en-route Rural Growth Centres (RGCs)
▪ The services under these assignments shall include:
1) Assessment of the socio-economic and bio-physical conditions in the project area,
2) Analysis of current and future climate trends, risks and impacts in the project area,
3) Review of existing water supply designs in light of objective two (2) above; and
4) Strengthening the adaptive capacity for enhanced water and sanitation services i.e.,
climate proofing the designs.
Duration of the assignment is 12 months.
