Trondheim municipality needs consulting services in connection with inspections including associated assessments of our raw and clean water tunnels. Trondheim municipality currently has three water tunnels, two of which are at the main water source (Jonsvatnet/Jervan) and one at the reserve water source Benna in Melhus: - RavannstunThe line that carries the raw water from Jervan to the Vikelvdalen water treatment plant (VIVA) is 3.7 km long, dimensions approx. 3*3.6 m, is rough blasted and not rock-secured. - After VIVA, treated water is led through a 1.1 km, dimension approx. 3*3.6 m, rough-blasted, non-rock-protected clean water tunnel before the water is distributed videas in the city. - The raw water tunnel at the reserve water source is 1.5 km long, dimensions approx. 2.5 m, rough-blasted and not rock-secured and carries the water from the source to the water treatment plant.
