Tenders are invited for Consultant to Develop Roadmap and Action Plan on Green Public Procurement.

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), financially supported by The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (BMU), is working closely with Thai Pollution Control Department (PCD) in implementing the project on SCP Outreach in Asia - The Next Five. This project aims at providing technical assistant to five countries to develop and implement SCP policy framework, in particular, Green Public Procurement (GPP) and Ecolabels. The project will promote sustainable consumption and production patterns, especially in the field of GPP and ecolabelling, in five Asian developing countries namely Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam and Bhutan. Sustainable consumption and production patterns contribute to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions as well as improved resource efficiency along the value chains. The project will adapt to the different contexts and needs of target countries and ensure that measures are in line with countries- interests and priorities.

As per country-s specific need, Cambodia has addressed its need for the first year of the project implementation by developing the roadmap and action plan for Green Public Procurement (GPP) and capacity development, as well as awareness-raising of the stakeholder.
