Expression of Interest are invited for Consulting Services Waste Water Treatment System Assessment, Detail Designs & Bill of Quantities for Eight (8) Hssp Facilities (St. Ann and Clarendon).
The Government of Jamaica, through the Ministry of Health and Wellness, has Received Financing from the Interamerican Development Bank (Idb), toward the Cost of the Support for the Health System Strengthening for the
Prevention and Care Management of Non-Communicable Disease Programme, and Intends to Apply Part of the
Proceeds for Consulting Services.
The Consulting Services ("the Services") are for a Consulting Firm to Engage a Highly Experienced and Relevant Consulting
Firm Who will be Able to Carry out Waste Water Assessment for Proposed Construction Works at the Slated Hssp
Facilities, Prepare Site- Specific Waste Water Treatment Plans and Costings Based on Assessment Findings in
Compliance with the Mohw (Ministry of Health and Wellness) & Idb (Inter-American Development Bank) and European
Union (Eu) Policies. The Consultancy will have a Duration of 6 Months. The Detailed Terms of Reference is

The Ministry of Health and Wellness Now Invites Eligible Consulting Firms ("Consultants") to Indicate Their Interest in
Providing the Services. Interested Consultants should Provide Information Demonstrating that They have the Required
Qualifications and Relevant Experience to Perform the Services. The Firm should Meet the following Criteria:
Qualifications / Experience of the Firm -the Firm must have:
Demonstrated Experience of Organizing Large-Scale Waste-Water Treatment Studies and Designs within the past
Five (5) - Ten (10) Years
Minimum Five (5) Years Demonstrated Capacity and Experience in Planning
And Implementing Waste-Water Treatment Systems for the Government of Jamaica
Consultants will be Selected According to the Procedures Set out in the Inter-American Development Bank: Policies for
The Selection and Contracting of Consultants Financed by the Inter-American Development Bank Gn-2350-9 and is Open
To All Eligible Bidders Defined in the Policies.
Consultants may Associate with Other Firms to Enhance Their Qualifications but should Indicate Clearly Whether the
Association is in the Form of a Joint Venture and/or a Sub-Consultancy. If Selected, All the Partners in the Joint Venture shall be Jointly
And Severally Liable for the Entire Contract in the Case of a Joint Venture.
A Consultant will be Selected in Accordance with the Quality-and-Cost Based Selection (Qcbs) Set out in the Idb's
Policies.
