Description

Synopsis:The Department of the Interior (DOI), United States Geological Survey (USGS), Pacific Coastal Marine Science Center, seeks to award an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for contaminant characterization laboratory services of samples in the following matrix: solid phases, aqueous phases, biological tissues (animal and plant), and passive samplers. The USGS Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center (PCMSC) conducts field studies and other types of studies to characterize environments, hazards, resources, and the physical and biogeochemical processes that shape them in US states, territories, and other areas. NAICS Code: 541380 - Testing Laboratories. Size Standard $16.5 million.PSC Code: B532 - Special Studies/Analyses - SoilThe anticipated award will be for a contract with a (3) three-year ordering period with an estimated start date of September 1, 2024. The USGS is contemplating an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 12, entitled, "Acquisition of Commercial Items" and FAR Part 13, entitled, “Simplified Acquisition Procedures”. Solicitation 140G0323Q0197 will be made available through the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) on or about June 28, 2024, IAW FAR 5.102(a)(1).
