Tenders are invited for Contract Workspotable Water Supply and Treatment Works, Transmission and Storage.

The Employer intends to prequalify firms for Works Package 2: Lot 2 Contract Works for Treatment Works, Transmission and Storage in Kano State which comprise the following:
Production Facilities:
Rehabilitation of the Tamburawa water treatment plant (150, 000 m3/day) and works to secure a raw water intake located downstream of industrial areas.
Rehabilitation of the Challawa 2 (90, 000 m3/day) and Challawa 3 (120, 000 m3/day) water treatment plants and related raw water intakes.
Transmission Line:
Commissioning of the existing 15 km of transmission main between the Challawa waterworks and Goron Dutse reservoir.
Construction of new transmission line from new intake to Challawa 2 and Challawa 3
Storage Reservoir:
Construction of a 5, 000 m3 distribution reservoir at Bompai Hill.
N/B: A detailed Description of the scope of Works is in the Prequalification Document. It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in June 2022.
