Project Name : Irrigation Expansion Program through Surface Water Unsing Renewable Energy in Kawkhali, Langadu, Kaptai and Sadar Upazilas of Rangamati District

Information for Tenderer/Consultant :

Eligibility of Tenderer : a) Jhiri Bandh constructed by BADC will be mainly used for Irrigation purpose. Thre tenderer is required to have a single work order in BADC within the last five financial years anywhere in the three hill districts (Rangamati, Bandarban & Khagrachhari) TK. 18 (Eighteen) lakhs should have similar work experience.b) Tenderer must submit trade license, VAT and Income Tax certificate. All documents must be up to date. To avail Tax exemption, Tribal Traders have to submit proper evidence of NBR Tax exemption.c) The Tenderer shall have average annual construction turnover of minimum TK 16 (Sixteen) Lakh over the last 5 (five) years. The work completion and payment certificates of the completed works during last 5 ( five) years should be submitted to calculate average annual turnover. Contractor will have to submit the statement of average annual construction turnover for the said amount / the document submitted. Turnover must be supported by Bank Statement of the Tenderer.d) The minimum amount of Liquid Assets or working capital or credit facilities for the Tenderer shall be 20 (Twenty) Lakhs in last 6 ( six) months before published the tender notice. For credit facilities, sanctioned amount of line of credit & up to date balance of line of credit should be clearly mentioned in credit facilities certificate.e) The duration of Tender Security will be eight months for those, who submitted Bank Guarantee. Otherwise tender proposal will be cancelled. The work may be totally dropped, decrease or increase as per field condition/design/budget allocation.
