AMSA is Australia-s national maritime safety regulator. AMSA is responsible for the maritime safety of international shipping and domestic commercial vessels, protection of the marine environment from ship-sourced pollution, and search and rescue services for the maritime and aviation sectors nationally. AMSA staff perform a mix of office and field-based roles, including inspections on domestic and international vessels, site inspections of aids to navigation around Australia-s coastline, and industry/ stakeholder engagement activities. AMSA employs around 500 staff and has 19 offices located across Australia in metro and regional areas. AMSA provides work wear and PPE to employees in a range of positions to support the safe performance of their duties and a professional and consistent corporate image. AMSA requires that regardless of location, eligible staff have access to high quality and consistent uniform styles, as well as a wide range of appropriate PPE to meets the needs of their position.
