Karlstad municipality invites interested suppliers to submit an application for the procurement of polymer. The procurement applies to a framework agreement with a maximum agreement period of 8 years.

In Karlstad, the municipality's technology and property management is responsible for VA operations. There are nine sewage treatment plants in the municipality. Sjoestadsverket is the largest. Wastewater from Karlstad central location is treated there. In the other works, waste water from cranes is treated. Polymer is used in the sludge treatment at Sjoestadsverket, at three medium-sized crane sort plants and at a smaller crane sort plant.
