Description : TERMS OF REFERENCE
1. The City Government of Laoag needs to create its Tourism Development Plan (TDP) to ensure that Laoag City maximizes its tourism potential and enables it grow in a way that is economically, socially and environmentally sustainable. It will help create jobs, strengthen local economy, contributes to local infrastructure development and can help to conserve the natural environment and cultural assets and traditions, reduce poverty and inequality. With the lack of expertise and with a time table to finish the said plan, there is a need to seek the assistance services of a consultancy firm.
2. With the assistance of services of consultancy firm, the city government aims to formulate a strategize and well planned TDP with a goal of developing local tourism facilities and attractions.
3. The consultancy firm is expected to provide technical assistance in all the steps in the formulation of the TDP. Close coordination with the City Tourism Team (CTT) is also expected to capture the real picture of the city.
