Description
The purpose of this synopsis is to publicize the forthcoming acquisition for Custodial Services. This acquisition is to provide Custodial Services for Sheppard Air Force Base (SAFB), Texas, and Frederick Auxiliary Airfield, OK, located approximately 65 miles Northwest of SAFB, Texas in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and provide a clean, neat and professional appearance. The service provider shall provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, quality control, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide custodial services.
The 82nd Contracting Squadron anticipates issuing a competitive solicitation for a firm fixed-price contract. The solicitation number is FA302024R0001. The projected performance period is a five-year ordering period from 01 October 2024 to 30 September 2029.
The current Custodial Services contract is due to expire 30 September 2024.
In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.8, this potential acquisition is 100% set-aside for Section 8(a) Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720, Janitorial Services. The size standard is $22.0 million.
The solicitation along with additional documents (Performance Work Statement, Blank Price Exhibits, Wage Determination, etc.) will be released approximately 5 April 2024.
