Description
The FBI requires specific Individual First Aid Kit (collectively IFAKs and MFAKs) to support continuation of the Deputy Director-s Active Shooter initiative, New Agent training, and ongoing training. In response to a number of Active Shooter incidents, the FBI has been involved in an on-going effort as part of a task force to lead all law enforcement training and ensure coordination among agencies. This effort, which is multi-faceted, includes improving law enforcement response to active shooter events, specifically with an eye toward improving survival for the victims.
The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is to poll the market for commercial, proprietary, and nonproprietary equipment from commercial entities for the availability of Custom Slim Line Individual First Aid Kits. The FBI requests capability statements of business with expertise in assembling and distributing specialized Individual First Aid Kits, refill kits and their individual components.
