Council is seeking Tenders submissions from experienced and suitably qualified Contractor/s to undertake the cyclic tree pruning and associated works within the municipality. The municipality is comprised of seven (7) geographic precincts. Each precinct is made up of one to four suburbs in line with its geographical size, population, level of activity and characteristics of the suburb. These precincts align with Council-s strategies and planning schemes to form the basis of Council-s Place-Based Structure for planning and delivery of services. A Play-Based structure for management of Banyule-s urban forest is to ensure trees in streets, open spaces and reserves are well maintained and contribute to enhancing the wellbeing of our community. For this contract, the cyclic tree pruning, and associated works are set out as separable portions, known as Work Package; meaning Tenderers may submit a tender for all Work Packages or only one or more Work Packages depending on capacity and capability. The Work Packages are as follows: 1. Cyclic High Voltage Electric Line Clearance Pruning;2. Cyclic Street Tree Pruning;3. Cyclic Parks and Reserve Tree Pruning;4. Cyclic Facility and Carpark Tree Pruning; and 5. Cyclic Playground Tree Pruning.Council reserves the right to appoint one Contractor to undertake all the Works or appoint multiple Contractors to undertake any particular Work Package to ensure works are completed in a timely manner with the required level of competency.
