The work consists of laying a 42 km long, 66 kV underground cable, Dalvikurlina 2 (DA2), from the substation at Rangarvellir to the substation at Dalvik. The main goal with the construction of Dalvikurlina 2 is to ensure energy delivery to Dalvik by doubling the connection to the main transmission system.
