about fista:
first step together association (fista) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting individuals with cognitive impairments, communication disorders, psycho-motor difficulties, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, hyperactivity, behavioral, and psycho-social problems. established in 1993 and located in north lebanon, fista-s mission is to provide education, vocational training, and professional rehabilitation for persons with disabilities, and to advocate for their rights. fista adheres to a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of gift, favor, or hospitality offered to its staff by suppliers. this policy extends to a firm stance against sexual harassment, exploitation, abuse, and child abuse, with a commitment to thoroughly investigate all allegations and take appropriate disciplinary action when necessary.
project title:
advancing inclusivity, protection, and resilience for persons with disabilities in north lebanon through local authority support and enhanced access to mental health services. in collaboration with expertise france under the shabake 2 project.
project objective:
to reduce vulnerabilities and inequalities among persons with disabilities in north lebanon, by improving their mental health and psychosocial well-being and strengthening inclusivity and accessibility across healthcare and social development sectors.

position title: data entry officer
we are seeking a highly qualified data entry officer whose key responsibility will be to;
oversee the ongoing data entry performed by the team in different departments, making sure, data is clean and accurate
work with projects coordinators to produce lists, reports, and exports
mentor and support the team, train new employees on how to conduct good data entry practices
support and work with coordinators to use statistical methods to extract and analyse key data, present findings and generate regular reports, dashboards and visuals in a clear and actionable format
plan and implement information solutions by identifying gaps, needs, and errors in the processes, advising on best practice data management as well as documentation.
ensure daily data entry, filing and documentation into the system is conducted appropriately and that inaccuracies of data is addressed regularly.
conduct data validation, cross checking while overseeing the daily team data entry activities, making sure incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, irrelevant, duplicated, or improperly formatted data is reported, removed, modified and/ or resolved.
support in developing data collection tools based on specific project-s requirements in accordance with the organization-s principles and values.
transfer paper information into computer folders or files, making sure all organizational tools are uploaded and functional.
design data models and build databases accordingly based on every project-s set of indicators, objectives and targets.
assist in quality control and data retrieval mechanisms
ensure data confidentiality and protection
provide timely uploading and maintenance of information in the organization-s information systems and platforms
provide information to various departments directly in a timely manner for specific limited information requests
suggest, recommend and implement in coordination with data entry team in tripoli, improvements to the system and data entry processes in order to increase accuracy.
conduct regular trainings to the team on how to use data collection tools, processes and system meeting the specifics of each team member-s responsibilities
qualifications and experience:
a bachelor-s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field is preferred. in the absence of a degree, relevant experience in data entry is required.
experience in building out databases
good developed written and communication skills
experience in data analysis, interpretation, visualization and presentation
significant experience in data management processes (collection, cleaning, analysis…)
advanced user of excel
high level attention to details
good demonstrated conceptual, analytical and design skills
good understanding and demonstrated experience in the identification of data sources, modelling skills and analysis methodologies
highly adept at troubleshooting and problem-solving
good self-management skills, able to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
you will have demonstrated experience in working with databases as well as being fluent in excel, google forms and microsoft forms.
high time management skills
ability to work independently or with a team
