This notice aims to provide public notice of a forthcoming project at Palau International Airport, Koror, Palau. The government plans to issue a solicitation approximately June 2024. This notice also aims to collect names of contractors interested in attending the site visit for the Base Access Request (BAR) that will be facilitated by the US Government.
Projects Description: This is a Design-Build project for new construction located within the boundaries of Koror International Airport, Koror, Palau. The Facility must be designed and constructed in accordance with either Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), International Building Codes (IBC), or Palau Codes as stated in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The proposed project is as follows:
Vehicle Maintenance Facility. Construct a new 120m2 vehicle maintenance facility, non-corrosive steel structure, Prefabricated Engineering Building (PEB) without intermediate columns. The roofing will be a non-corrosive steel structure roof frame. The facility will be a drive-thru vehicle maintenance bays with one large bay to accommodate extra sized vehicle such as a Ford F-350 and one smaller bay for regular sized vehicles.
