Clean up contaminated soil at the Dead horse KM 9 site. Soil will be removed and disposed of at an approved waste disposal site. A geoscientist or engineer must be on site to determine where there is contamination and when the soil becomes clean. They will provide daily updates to the MNRF on the removal of the contaminated soil removal. Once all contaminated soil is removed it will be filled in with clean fill.
Without limiting its rights described in the Request for service, the Ministry requires the agreement so that all materials which are metal to be disposed of at a proper recycling and/or scrap metal facility and all non-hazardous waste are to be disposed of at a non-Ministry owned waste disposal site or facility. All contaminated soil are to be disposed at a proper facility.
