Tender Details

Historically, DASA has relied on a multitude of contracted suppliers to supplement its capacity and capability. DASA intends to rationalize the number of contracts by establishing a single Strategic Support Contract (SSC) covering the full scope of services required to support DASA in the long term. The contract will be a performance based rolling wave complex services contract with an initial term of five years and up to five extension options of one year. This Notice releases the RFT pack including a summary of extant contracted support which will be subsumed under the new contract. Procurement Approach; The Commonwealth seeks a contractual arrangement with a single legal entity to provide, or manage the provision of, the full scope of the Services. Although the Commonwealth is seeking a single legal entity to be responsible for the provision of the full scope of the Services, the Commonwealth is aware that the scope of the Services is broad and that it is unlikely that all the required specialist expertise to meet this scope resides within a single commercial organisation. As a result, there is an understanding that Tenderers may propose solutions that include a degree of sub-contractual involvement. The Tenderer will be expected to execute a substantive proportion (at least 50 percent) of the overall mature scope of work within their own commercial organisation.
