Expression of Interest are invited for Developing Safe Road Improvement Plan for selected highways in Bangladesh

Objective: preparation of technical road safety studies and their dissemination to inform the World Bank team and Government of Bangladesh on safety engineering measures that could save lives on selected roads in Bangladesh. This assistance will be delivered through a series of technical reports comprising of iRAP baseline together with related dissemination activities. Main tasks are as follows:
· Conduct iRAP-based road safety analysis on the network identified by RHD.
· Develop iRAP Star Ratings and Safer Road Investment Plans for all the assesses corridors;
· Develop an optimized investment plan for the mass action treatments;
· Identify the location and types of engineering treatments to be implemented by RHD under the Project-s Mass Action Program activity and preparing preliminary template design and specifications for the interventions.
