Request for proposals are invited for Development of Project Preparation Facility (Ppf) Concept Notes for the Green Climate Fund (Gcf) Readiness Program Jordan
Scope of Work
This assessment shall present technical, environmental, financial, social, policy assessment of feasible options/solutions for the proposed project/Programme and proposing outcomes and recommendations with the most feasible and sound options for the project/Programme. Ensure the concept note addresses a climate rationale which includes scientific analysis. The assessment shall enhance the overall quality of the concept note for submission to GCF. The assessment will be carried out in close consultations with important stakeholders under guidance from GGGI team
Proposed Activities include:
a. Desk review of current draft of concept note/project identification report to validate and/or update existing data in the project concept (within the Jordanian context);
b. Define methodology to be employed;
c. Conduct assessment of feasible options for project implementation using existing/available data, studies, resources, consultations, and field visits
d. Organize the study according to the GCF format outlined in Annex A; enhance and update the concept note in GCF SAP template.
