Disc brakes (with crown in two parts) for M6 metro vehicles

The purpose of this contract is the conclusion of a framework agreement for the supply of disc brakes (according to plan) intended for the maintenance of metro M6 (which were manufactured by CAF). The discs will be of the type 'Proven Design', which means that use must be made of an existing concept whose reliability can be demonstrated by referring to applications in the field of public transport by rail. These are 100 to 180 disc brakes on average per year from 2024, and the supplier mustt provide a buffer stock of approximately 184 disc brakes. These disc brakes (with a MOQ of 8 pieces) must be able to be delivered to STIB within 20 days after the order (under call). The quantities are based on a rolling forecast with the quantity for the first year (2024) being closed. After this period, the quantities may be adapted by mutual agreement. The estimated value of this contract is between €1, 100, 000 and €1, 500, 000 over a period of 96 months or 8 years. The number of successful bidders envisaged is preferably of 2, allowing the second highest ranked bidder, in descending order, to act as back-up.
