ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
The WB is seeking to recruit a consulting firm to deliver the following two tasks:
1. The Djibouti digital innovation diagnostic and strategy: It will aim at identifying the challenges and obstacles to digital innovation in Djibouti, both at the demand and supply sides, and to develop a strategy and action plan, based on the diagnostic and on international best practices. Recommendations to cover all dimensions as relevant: institutional, legal, regulatory, capacity building, financial etc. A focus is expected to be made on supporting digital innovation in entrepreneurship and SMEs.
2. The Djibouti technology adoption survey, with a representative sample of firms in Djibouti, through face-to-face interviews. Consulting firm responsibilities will include piloting of the questionnaire, selection and training of team, detailed monitoring in accordance with agreed monitoring plan, and quality controls. The questionnaire and the Sample are to be provided by the World Bank.
