Description
This is NOT A SOLICITATION for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations; nor it is a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation. No reimbursement or stipend will be provided in response to this RFI/ Sources Sought Notice.
The Department of Labor seeks a provider that is able to provide medical and health and wellness services to approximately 3, 000 employees located at the Frances Perkins Building in Washington, DC. Below are some of the requirements that DOL is looking for in a provider. The list is not exhaustive and DOL is open to various methods of delivering the requested services.
BASIC SERVICES REQUESTED
The contractor should be able to provide general health services similar to that of a small quick care or urgent care facility. Services provided should meet or exceed the following:
1) Walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries
2) Basic emergency services including first aid, administration of an epi-pen, CPR, or use of the AED.
3) Maintain a stock of commonly needed medications including but not limited to antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, muscle relaxers, cough and cold medications, allergy and asthma treatments, and gastrointestinal medications.
4) Ability to provide routine adult immunizations including but not limited to Tetanus-diphtheria (Td), Tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis (Tdap), Influenza, and pneumococcal (pneumonia) vaccines.
5) Ability to administer basic care prescribed by an employee's personal physician including administration of medications, administration of allergy immunotherapy, blood pressure and glucose (blood sugar) monitoring, wound care, and periodic bedrest.
6) Basic health screenings including blood pressure checks, temperature checks, body mass index (BMI) calculations, blood sugar checks, cholesterol tests, flu tests, strep throat tests, COVID-19 tests, etc.
7) Basic mental health services
8) Management of a designated lactation space...
