This Request for Information (RFI) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS), on behalf of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety (CPPS) to gather information about the available drone detection options in the marketplace to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. Respondents are asked to provide information for Drone Detection Options, as further described in the RFI Particulars (Appendix A). The intent of the RFI is to understand the current market drone detection options to assist CPPS in preparing for future competition. Considering that drones may have the potential to pose a safety and security risk for CPPS correctional facilities, CPPS seeks to understand the current market options for detecting drones within or around secured correctional facilities, as well as potentially preventing drones from entering CPPS-secured environments within, or surrounding, areas of correctional facilities.
