Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (the “Authority”) has issued this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for the purpose of inviting proposals from qualified consultants to undertake the services described in Appendix ‘A- to this RFP (the “Services”) with respect to the E177-00 Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) Palliative Care Patio Renovation project (the “Project”).
The successful Proponent will act in the capacity of a Managing Consultant (Architect) for the Project, including engaging the services of all Sub-Consultants as required to provide complete consulting services for the Project, except that the Authority will engage a professional quantity surveyor and IT consultant (IMITS).
Services to be provided by the Managing Consultant and Sub-Consultants will include: Mechanical, Electrical, RCDD, Structural, Code and Building Envelope. More information about the Project and the Services is set out in Appendix ‘A-.
Pre-qualified Architectural and Engineering Consultants:
Only architectural firms that have been prequalified by the Authority for Acute-Care Projects greater than $150, 000 are eligible to respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from a firm that is not prequalified for projects Acute-Care Projects greater than $150, 000.Proponents proposing to use Sub-Consultants for the following disciplines should use firms that are included on the Authority-s pre-qualified list of engineers (pre-qualified for any fee category): • mechanical; • ele...
