The Hamburg Integration Office manages the special equalization levy fund; The supervisory authority is the Authority for Labor, Health, Social Affairs, Family and Integration of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. The client (AG) for the tendered services is the IntegrationsamtHamburg. This task is financed from the special equalization levy fund. As part of its legal tasks, the Hamburg Integration Office is responsible for ensuring the participation of severely disabled people in working life in accordance with the Social Code IX (SGB IX) Part 3. DAs of January 1, 2022, the Participation Strengthening Act (BGBl. I of June 9, 2021, p. 1387) assigned the integration offices the nationwide establishment of uniform contact points for employers (EAA) in accordance with Section 185a SGB IX in conjunction with as a new task of accompanying assistance in working life §§ 14 para1 No. 2, 27a Paragraph 2, 36 Sentence 1 Compensation Tax Ordinance for Severely Disabled Persons (SchwbAV).
