The EAM tool to be procured should in future represent the client's central EAM repository. For this purpose, the following architectural levels according to TOGAF must be taken into account and must be able to be represented by the EAM tool in the current state and in parallel target states:

By using the EAM tool, the client intends to achieve the following goals:

1. Creation of transparency in relation to the current architecture (initially with a focus on the application and technology architecturetecture, perspectively in all of the above-mentioned architectural levels) through documentation of the existing elements and their relationships to one another

2. Development and presentation of target architectures as well as roadmaps to show the necessary transformation steps of the current architectureAchievement of the target architectures

The provision and operation of the EAM tool should be carried out by the contractor as part of a SaaS model (Software as a Service).
