The CSC Data Processors Re-engineering Service aims at the implementation of a new Earth Observation Processor Framework (EOPF) and the re-engineering of the data processors currently used to operationally generate the Copernicus Sentinel-1/2/3(land) Level-0, Level-1, Level-2 data with the aim to harmonize and modernize the operational processing framework, to benefit from the capabilities of cloud-based environments such as the elasticity of computing resources and to efficiently support both the systematic production operations as well as the needs of a more flexible on-demand production context. CS GROUP has been selected by ESA as Prime Contractor for the Sentinels Data Processors Re-engineering Service. As part of this Service, CS GROUP will procure the implementation of the Sentinels processors re-engineering via open competitive tenders according to the ESA Best Practices procedure. A first open competitive tender has already been issued on the 03/02/2023, covering the re-engineering of the Level 1 and 2 data processor for Sentinel 2 and the re-engineering of the Level and Level 2 data processors for Sentinel 3 OLCI, SLSTR and Synergy. The second open competitive tender covering the following activities is planned to be published on the 31/03/2023 : -The re-engineering of Sentinel-1/2/3 L0 processors.
