The purpose of the bubble curtain is to exclude small fish from entering the East Side Pump Station pumps and into the M1 Canal. This will allow the M1 Canal to be chemically treated for algae without completing a labor-intensive fish salvage.The bubble curtain system consists of diffuser hoses enclosed around the intake channel. The diffuser hoses are aerated. Torpedo and heat hoses are also required. The hoses are powered by a compressor and a WSA supplied diesel generator. The compressor and manifold will be housed in a enclosure; retrofitting the enclosure is a requirement of the successful respondent.Deliverables will include the supply and install of all required materials, electrical work, tubing placement work and site preparation.
