The University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz is a corporation under public law. It has a total of around 60 clinics, institutes and departments and thus represents the entire spectrum of modern medicine.
Each year in the eye clinic of the universitysmedizin Mainz treats around 6, 500 inpatient surgical and non-surgical patients, as well as 7, 500 outpatient operations and 80, 000 outpatients. This makes the eye clinic the largest clinic in university medicine in terms of patient volume.

The introduction of an electronic patient file (ePA) represents an important step for the eye clinic of the University Medical Center Mainz in order to meet the growing requirements for the documentation and evaluation of complex clinical andnd a variety of diagnostics that can be displayed digitally and the subsequent therapy planning.
To implement the ePA, we are looking for an applicant whose software is tailored to the needs of the University Medical Center Mainz and ophthalmology and largely all those that occurprocesses in the operation of the eye clinic. A paper file is not kept in parallel.
